Tri-State Rocks
Tri-State Rocks (TSR) is Inspired Nation’s sophomore event and has showcased the talent of 15 aspiring young artists raising over $100,000 for local charitable partners. Each year, finalists between the ages of 12-21 perform in the Westchester, NY area and compete in front of music-industry veterans Kara DioGuardi, Leslie Stifelman (musical director of Broadway hit Chicago), and Pete Ganbarg (President of A&R of Atlantic records). Winners receive a mentorship with Kara, a Summer Sessions scholarship to Berklee College of Music, and a cash prize. Last year, fifteen finalists wowed the audience, which included youth groups from lower-income areas whose travel and tickets were underwritten by generous donors. Since the competition, finalists have continued to give back by working with Inspired Nation on volunteer opportunities.
